About The Project

We partnered with MGK to help them upgrade their aging system to better enhance safety. The existing mechanical room did not have additional space and is classified as a Class 1 Div 2 Space, so we built a packaged machinery room adjacent to the existing engine room outside the existing plant footprint.

Why The Project Was A Success

Our team at Cool Air served as the general contractor for this project. Once our concept was selected and approved, we brought together our design team, and structural engineers to develop a design for permitting approval. Once the permit was approved we partnered with our foundation and earth work contractors, steel erectors, electricians etc. In this case we built the structure onsite, because it allowed a slightly larger enclosure and it was an addition to the system not a quick turnaround replacement. By leading the direction of this project, it was a success for MGK.
