About The Project

We partnered with Ames Arena to furnish and install 2 CDI desiccant dehumidification units with boilers to cool the ice rink. Additionally, we installed pumps and an HX loop for the ice melt pit.

Why The Project Was A Success

Our team at Cool Air coordinated with Apex Companies, building management and sub contractors to complete the dehumidification and cooling project ahead of schedule. With high quality work and flexible project management, We were able to take down the existing system and get the new system up and running with little interruption to the refrigeration replacement and remodeling project that was happening simultaneously.
